What does the LED Fluorescence Phototherapy treatment consist of?

LED Fluorescence Phototherapy is an advanced technology that uses fluorescent light energy to improve the condition of the skin and to carry out aesthetic medicine and dermatological treatments. This innovative method uses different colours of LED light, which, thanks to their ability to penetrate deep into the skin, significantly improve skin texture and colour and stimulate its natural renewal processes.

What are the effects of LED light phototherapy?

Depending on the colour of the light, LED light phototherapy acts on specific skin needs:

  • Blue light: has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect by regulating cytokines.
  • Stimulation of new hair growth: thanks to concentrated active ingredients, the treatment accelerates the process of new hair growth and supports a healthy hair growth cycle.
  • Green light: Stimulates fibroblasts and endothelial cells that mediate proliferation and healing, which are key to skin rejuvenation.
  • Yellow light: reaches the papillary layer of the dermis, counteracts photoageing, stimulates fibroblast activity.
  • Red light: activates vessels, reduces inflammation, promotes wound healing and increases collagen production.

Who is the LED light treatment for?

LED phototherapy is recommended for people with skin problems resulting from AD, psoriasis and hyperpigmentation. LED phototherapy is equally effective as a rejuvenating treatment as it stimulates collagen production and stimulates microcirculation in the skin. We recommend LED fluorescence phototherapy to anyone who wants a safe and minimally invasive treatment:

  • treat skin diseases - inflammation, eczema, scleroderma, ringworm, erythema, dilated capillaries
  • reduce scars and stretch marks
  • cure acne
  • regulate sebaceous glands
  • remove blemishes
  • reduce cellulite
  • heal difficult-to-heal wounds
  • smooth wrinkles and rejuvenate the skin
  • relieve muscle and joint pain, as well as joint stiffness
  • reduce swelling
  • quickly regenerate the skin, e.g. after laser therapy

What is good to know before LED fluorescence phototherapy?

For LED phototherapy to be effective, it is crucial to choose the right colour of light for the problem you want to solve. It is important that the treatment is carried out in a proven practice and high quality lamps are used, and that they are used as intended and recommended. The LED light treatment lasts between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on the area being phototherapy. After the treatment, there may be a slight redness at the area of irradiation, but you can return to your daily duties immediately.

What are the contraindications to LED fluorescence phototherapy treatment?

Contraindications to fluorescence LED phototherapy include:

  • pregnancy
  • epilepsy
  • cancer
  • anti-acne therapy with isotretinoin (for LED therapy this is a relative contraindication)
