What does the treatment involve?

BioRePeel CL3 is a multi-step peeling treatment that works both on the surface of the skin and in its deeper layers. The treatment is based on the use of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) at a concentration of 50%, lactobionic acid, salicylic acid, tartaric acid, citric acid, as well as vitamins, amino acids and other active substances that promote skin regeneration. Thanks to its gentle exfoliating and keratolytic action, it accelerates cell regeneration by removing the outer cells of the stratum corneum with a selective action on the binding of corneocyte junctions.

Technology

BioRePeel CL3 consists of two phases:

• Hydrophilic phase (yellow) - contains trichloroacetic acid 50%, lactobionic acid, salicylic acid, tartaric acid, citric acid, vitamins C and B2, glycine, proline, hydroxyproline, arginine and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). This phase has a strong exfoliating, regenerating and antioxidant effect, promoting skin renewal processes.
• Lipophilic phase (blue) - contains squalene and isopropyl myristate, which protect the hydrophilic layer from oxidation and stabilise the formulation, ensuring efficacy and safety.

Using these ingredients, BioRePeel CL3 has a multi-directional effect, improving both the appearance and texture of the skin.

Course of treatment

The BioRePeel CL3 treatment begins with skin cleansing, followed by the application of a peel preparation to the surface. During contact between the preparation and the skin, the proteins of the outer layer of the skin are denatured and a biochemical cascade is activated, leading to the production of growth factors (PDGF, TGF-alpha, TGF-beta 1, VEGF). The preparation remains on the skin for 3-10 minutes, depending on the treatment area. After the prescribed time, the preparation is removed and moisturising and regenerating products are applied to the skin.

Indications for treatment

BioRePeel CL3 consists of two phases:

Contraindications to treatment

BioRePeel CL3 treatment is not recommended in certain situations. Contraindications include:

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Active skin infections such as herpes.
• The tendency to develop hypertrophic scars (keloids).
• Allergy to any of the ingredients in the preparation.
• Autoimmune diseases in active phase.

What else is worth knowing about the procedure?

The procedure is minimally invasive and virtually painless. With sensitive skin, a slight burning sensation may be felt, but this does not exclude the patient from daily activities. The peel can be used throughout the year and does not require a period of convalescence. When combined with microneedling, slight peeling of the skin may occur.
